For the first time in the Baltic States the professional aviation aerobatic jet team is created.
We are named BALTIC BEES jet team!
The team is created in 2008. The purpose of creation of team is participation in various air shows, exhibitions and aviation holidays, organized all over the world. Team also can become an excellent action for celebration of City Day, Independence Day, Birthday, etc.
The unusual name of the team ”Baltic Bees” is thought up by company management dictated by desire to make original group with kind of personal sign, the team name is reflected in plane's original paintings, and also in elements of pilots uniform and accessories. In the team have entered pilots with thousands of flying hours experience on military fighter aircrafts and hi-speed and maneuverability small aerobatic airplanes. Our pilots generate the unique style of piloting, and perform at the maximum staginess and difficulty.
The company has stopped the choice on airplane L-39С Albatros manufactured in Czech Republic. At the moment the team consists of 5 such airplanes and to be increased up to 9 till the end of 2010. Base aerodrome of the team is Tukums airport, Latvia (ICAO code EVTA).
Despite our young age, the team already has had time to prove well itself on several responsible air shows. Character of indicative team performance means careful and long training for achievement of staginess and safety of aviation acrobatics.
